shopmate operates as a cashback platform connected to billiger.de, a subsidiary of solute GmbH. It collaborates with over 1,000 online shops to offer cashback rewards to its users. Users select offers from partner shops via the shopmate platform and make purchases through the designated links. Upon successful completion of the purchase and if no returns or cancellations occur, users receive a portion of the commission earned by shopmate as cashback. The platform facilitates affiliate marketing, where shopmate receives a commission from the partner shops for referred sales and passes a part of this commission back to the user. To use the service, customers must register an account. Purchased items appear as pending in the user's account and are later confirmed as available for payout once the transaction is finalized by the merchant and any return periods have passed. A minimum of 2 EUR is required for payout via SEPA transfer.
